Right At Home “Extreme Makeover”
Right At Home is Coleman Foundations’s unique fundraiser,
in support of quality behavioral health services throughout Northeast Ohio.
Saturday, September 11, 2010
6 pm – 9 pm
1595 Woodway Road, Kent, OH
Some call it the event of the season…
We prefer to think of it as a great way to get together each Fall, procure gorgeous artwork, and enjoy the comforts of someone else’s home — while supporting very worthy cause in our community.
Coleman Foundation’s 22nd annual Right At Home event will take place along the graceful shores of Twin Lakes at the home recently purchased by Nancy and Jim Arthur, currently undergoing renovations led by sons Bill and Wally Arthur of Transohio Properties. Daughter Jenny Arthur and mother Nancy serve on the Right at Home committee. On September 11, the family will swap construction crews for caterers when they halt work for the Right at Home “Extreme Makeover” event.
This year’s event offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness first-hand the transformation taking place at the landmark property while you soak in the incredible waterfront views. Right At Home guests will be given exclusive access to the house (formerly owned by artist Nancy Wise) while they admire and obtain exquisite works of art — paintings, sketches sculpture, ceramics, and more — by both nationally renowned and local artists.
Of course, the Arthurs are known for their artful attention to detail when renovating properties. Updates in progress at the Twin Lakes home at 1595 Woodway Road in Kent will prove to be no exception. The home on Twin Lakes is not the only thing being renovated…
Come and see the updates we have in store for you at the event itself! (See photos of the renovatation in the Gallery)
- Regular updates on the event on this website, including renovation photos of the home, new artwork and auction items, and much more. Also, we hope you’ll “Like Us” on Facebook (simply search “Coleman Right At Home” on Facebook).
- Wall of Wine – Choose a “blind” bottle and see if you selection is swell — or swill! (Actually, they’re all good wines, some better than others!)
- Baubles ‘n’ Bubbles – Toast the evening with a sip of bubbly with a twist – not lemon, not orange. The “twist” is a velvet bag tied to the stem of the glass that just might contain an exquisite 14-carat Citrine Ring! Cheers!!
- New Elite Partnership – We remain forever grateful to our sponsors. This year we offer you the unique opportunity to sponsor several Coleman Foundation events at one reasonable price. You get better exposure for your generosity and support. We invite you to consider this unique program. For more information contact Pam Fife at pam.fife@coleman-foundation.com or 330.676.6832.
- Enjoy seeing first-hand the transformation of an outstanding Twin Lakes treasure, an architectural work of art that’s currently a work in progress.
Now more than ever, we welcome you to join us at this unique benefit. Money raised at the Right At Home event supports the work of Coleman Professional Services, to provide much-needed behavioral health services to families and individuals in our community, regardless of their ability to pay. People are struggling, and Coleman is there to help.
Invitations are available by phoning us at Coleman Foundation, 330-676-6876.
You can also secure your reservation for the event online at www.ColemanRightAtHome.com.
Be sure to RSVP early to make sure you’re a part of this unique event, Right At Home Extreme Makeover. Even within a nearly 5,000 square foot home, reservations are limited. We look forward to you being part of our transformations! See you on September 11th.
